The Venerable Samuel Orimogunje is the founder and Senior Priest at St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Jamaica, New York.
As an Archdeacon of Long Island, I oversee three parishes, one in Islip Long Island and two in Brooklyn, New York.
I was born and raised from a good Christian home in Nigeria by devoted Christian parents. I came to the United States of America in 1975, continued to worship and served in various ministry of the Episcopal Church. I started singing in the choir, leading Bible Study Group and other committee of the church.
I am blessed to be married to my wife, Deborah Oyedeji, who was also born and raised by devoted Christian parents whose father was a priest in a Pentecostal Church in the United States. We are blessed with one adult daughter Anike Christine who is now married.

Graduated from Medgar Evers College (CUNY) Brooklyn, NY 1980: Bachelor of Science in Management degree
Wagner College, Staten Island, New York, 1983: Master of Business Administration (Finance) degree
Seminary:
Graduated from the Theological Seminary of the Reformed Episcopal Church, Blue Bell, Pennsylvania in 2010: M. Div. Ordained as presbyter in August 2010.

EMPLOYMENT:
Work for the New City, Department of Homeless Services as a Program Analyst. (By the grace of God will retire in December 2020.
